Hi all,
My daughter has a nintendo DSi and has recently asked santa for some R2D2 game. And mentioned something about sbots whatever, I was dead tired, but she seemed pretty set on the idea. I dont want to press asking her that she might get the idea santa can actualy get a copy without knowing what, or where to even get this game.

Can anyone help me? Does anyone know a R2D2 game comming out for Nintendo DSi?
(I beseech humbly the knowlegable Ubuntu User Community)

Tell her she needs to write out a list with all of the details to send to Santa. Then read the list.

The only DS game I know that has R2D2 is Lego Star Wars. You're sure she's not talking about an R2D2 Droid phone, right?

LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 (http://starwars.lego.com/en-us/Games/Default.aspx) is a online game you can play for free, but it needs some plugin that only works with Windows/Mac.

But there is Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars available on nearly every game system.

This. :)

If that fails, then you could tell her to give a list to her grandma, an aunt or uncle, etc. Then get the details from them.

Not always the best idea to tell a kid this right before Christmas.

I think Nintendo is mainly making 3DS games right now, so if it's going to come out, you'll be playing on the wrong platform (I don't know if the DSi can play 3DS games, so that statement is debatable).
I personally don't know any games, though.

I agree just tell her to write out a list. Have her put it somewhere for "santa" that you can get it, or tell her you're going to mail/email it to santa.

Then you'll know what the game is. I did a google search to no avail for you -- so you may have to get more information :-/

I agree this is not the best idea. The best idea would be not never tell kids about such a lie as Santa Claus.

It makes them happy, and even if you don't tell them Santa Claus does not exists, they will realize it by themselves when they grow up.

At least that was my case.

go for the list idea.

However did she mean a game as there is a nintendo DS skin of R2d2

either that or the lego star wars game

Tell her that santa does not exist.

The truth is actually much worse.

The person most often identified as Santa is well...he's dead.

+1 But you made a typo.
