Evince and opening PDF's in Firefox

Anyone know how to do this, specifically without launching a separate window so I can middle click a link and open a new tab to the page specified in that link?

I am trying to avoid needing to install Adobe Acrobat as I used to...

If you want to open Evince in a Firefox window just install the add-on " MozPlugger" ..... info here; http://www.webupd8.org/2011/03/get-embedded-pdf-files-in-firefox-36-4.html

Sorry mike555, I should have stated I caught that hint on the web but when I try to apt-get install it, it wants to pull adobe in as dep, wtf?
