I was reading this document:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AptGet/Offline/Repository
It seemed interesting. It might solve some problems I sometimes have. But there seems to be a step missing. How does one get actual package files for the version, architecture, and component chosen? This document didn't say. These files are in the "pool" directory. But everything is there, totaling over 400 GB. A USB memory stick that big? I don't think so. So something has to be able to selectively download just the packages in then chosen repository subset. But what would do that?
