I'm having problems encoding/playing ogv files, and I've had it for the past few release of Ubuntu. I've always had to record pretty much everything in mp4,mpg, formats because I could never seem to find an program or codec that seem to encode OGV videos correctly. The audio always seems okay, its just the video almost always is much faster than the audio(which goes at the correct pace). Ive had this problem for a while now and have been reasonably happy with workarounds, but I was just wondering if this was a common problem? If so has anyone managed to fix it? I'd really like to support open file formats more.
