Hi everyone! Im very new to linux and i am really enjoying except for my video card having some issues.
I have a Powercolour ATI HD 5570 and I am using the open source driver in the additional driver section. I am running Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit.
The thing is when I try to play a movie or anything, the video playback is jsut very laggy. All the animations from compiz are choppy. The overal experience is just very sluggish.
Is there something I can do to help this?
