A few days ago I asked if anyone was using qjoypad in Unity, I got no response. The latest Edubuntu (which uses Unity) doesn't play nice with qjoypad and my kids miss their gamepad (the configuration window refuses to pop up). Now they're asking me if they can play the penguin games on Windows...#-o

So... here's a different way of asking for help: What do any of you recommend for Gamepad mapping in Unity?

Yikes! Does nobody here use a gamepad in Unity?

A solution. Found here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1885379&highlight=gamepad+unity).

To quote the original author, Unity doesn't like QJoypad, it has to be started via the following command:

qjoypad --notray

The qjoypad icon will probably show up in the middle of the screen but it's usable.
