View Full Version : Linux classes at University

November 26th, 2011, 03:52 AM
I did a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology this year and I'm going to be doing a Bachelor's degree and I need to decide what subjects I will be doing.

I'm looking at taking Linux Server Management classes, as well as Operating System and Networking (Theory and Practical) but over the Christmas holidays (in my country, I've got about 2-3 months) however I would prefer to read up a little bit so that I don't put a lot of money and time into learning it and then find out that it doesn't really interest me.

Does anyone know some good sources (websites, books etc.) that I can use to read up on Linux Server Management, learning to use various distributions etc? I've had some experience in the past but nothing major.

Any help would be appreciated,
