Hi,

I run on Windows Xp and Linux, Ubuntu 11.04 as well. My dorm room admin has changed the internet provider i think and has posted a note saying we have to connect to the internet through a new connection where we input as password and id our identity cards issued by the school. i made the connection in windows but i have no idea how to create it in linux. in windows i went to

control panel-network connections-create new connection-set up my connection manually- connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password- jumped over the isp name (no name required)- input the username and id (which i did)-finish.

i apologise for defiling the forum with windows :P but i am desperate to create a connection and return to using linux, until i can do that i must use windows (bleach!)

please gimme a hand

PS: i am a newbie in Linux, as it can be seen in my post and i need urgent help with it...school awaits
