Hello!

I have my google calendar set up in evolution and it syncs nicely.
Aso I want to use the calendar applet on top of the panel in gnome shell.

When I click on the calendar applet the first time after boot, it shows no events. If I close it and click it again, it takes 0.2s and shows my google calendar events.

Is there a way to make evolution / the calendar initialize / update on startup, so the events are already loaded when I first click on the calendar applet?

Try this http://www.webupd8.org/2011/09/google-calendar-gnome-shell-integration.html
Doesn't work for me, but I don't have Evolution going.
