Hi all,
I have been trying to setup zoneminder on my laptop with little success. i installed just now from the repositories:
sudo apt-get install zoneminder

but when i navigate to http://localhost/zm i get the 404 not found page.
i tried creating a symbolic link to the www directory
sudo ln -s /usr/share/zoneminder /var/www/zm
and then restarting apache
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
but then when i navigate to the url my browser tries to download a 'download' file. i tried focring it to http://locahost/zm/index.php but then it tries to download index.php
i have since removed the symbolic link
sudo rm /var/www/zm
please help :)
