Was wondering if anyone knew where I could get more of them? Was actually interested in the ktux spaceship penguin one but it won't work I can preview it but no cigar. I had Kubuntu installed but it was all freezy so I uninstalled it. Any ideas on how to make the penguin work or more screen savers for Gnome?

As I remember you are running a pre 11.10 version of Ubuntu , so the Gnome screen saves at the link should work . http://gnome-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=187

If you decide to upgrade to 11.10, uninstall gnome-screensaver and install xscreensaver. Then, add xscreensaver to your list of startup apps. It worked for me, and was REALLY fast. The only downside is ctrl+alt+L no longer works unless you manually set it up, and the screen doesn't lock on suspend. Not sure about hibernate.

There is a package of extra xscreensavers in the Ubuntu official repos which also work with the old Gnome-Screensaver. Just do a search in USS or Synaptic.

Enjoy!
