View Full Version : [ubuntu] Help! Changing Log In Background?

I hate the background to my LogIn screen any Ideas how to change it? Or at least how to change it back to the Tree background I'm not sure how it got changed to begin with. Running Ubuntu Gnome

I use the login settings in this application . Make sure you install the correct version . http://ubuntu-tweak.com/

Open login settings , unlock , click on the login image , move to the directory where the image you would like to use is stored , select the image , and select open.

Alright thats what I was reading up on but I have the Ubuntu 10.4 LTS version however when I download it and try installing it with a package installer it gives me an error :Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: python (>= 2.7 and thats with GDebi. Maybe theres a different package installer you would recommend? :)

On the Ubuntu Tweak main page there is a link for Ubuntu 10.10 and 10.04 .

Thank you guys!! It helps to go away and come back to the situation lol. It was actually quite easy!!:guitar:
