Hi, I don't know which unity environmet I am actually using. Where can I enable Unity 3D? It is definitely supported by my system:

At the LDM login screen click on the cog beside your account name and select Ubuntu. Enter your password and press the enter key.

If you want to be sure, with Unity 3d there's a shadow under the top panel. No shadow in Unity 2d.
