i get some pre-fix error on boot up

Hi,
are you able, despite the error message, to boot into Ubuntu?

Please try and be more specific about the message and when this started.

it starts when i boot into ubuntu and yes im able to start ubuntu :guitar::-\"

You can't get rid of this error. It's happens with wubi installs 11.04 and 11.10. Eventually the developers will remove it I suppose. In the meantime, it doesn't do any harm, so just ignore it or switch to a normal (non-wubi) dual boot.
