Hi,

I have the following problem for a couple of weeks now - the update manager supplies me as usual with suggestions for updates. But constantly comes up a warning that my update information is outdated.
If I check the repository information with the update manager the following message appears:

W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/bisigi/ppa/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found
W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/bisigi/ppa/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found
E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

If I remember it right this error message didn't appear right after upgrading.

I had a look at launchpad and indeed, there is nothing like a oneiric distribution. Does this mean, I will not get any Ubuntu Oneiric updates anymore? If so, what do I have to do to fix this error?

There will be no support for ubuntu 11.10 or Gnome 3.
I’m really sad to annonce that Bisigi project stops now.
I want to thanks all the members of the team, and all the people who supported us!

It was a nice experience for me…

François

Ah, that was really stupid of me, not to search for the Bisigi project in this context. Removed it now from the repositories.
Thank you for helping me out.
