unable to read menu and fonts

Hi,

I just installed gnome shell and When i log in in gnome shell i get unreadable fonts. Anyone know how to fix this?

the picture attached here. Anyway how to take screenshot in ubuntu? I use my phone camera to take the screen shot.

i solved by uninstalling ati catalyst driver (properiotery).

how ever i need the driver for games. is there any workaround?
