Hi all -
I am using XFCE with sloppy focus and without "raise on focus". I want new windows to be placed in front of all other windows. Any hints?

Devilspie (http://burtonini.com/blog/computers/devilspie/) might be able to do this for you (its available in the Software Centre). Have a look at DoR's response in this thread (http://askubuntu.com/questions/27826/how-to-configure-my-system-so-that-all-windows-start-maximized). He provides a solution for maximizing and focusing all new windows. I think if you replace maximize with foucus, you can get what you're looking for.
