Hi folks,

I'm an absolute ubuntu noob. Just transferred from Windows a couple of days ago. I'm on Ubuntu 11.10. Now, because I have two screens (laptop screen plus one other monitor), I was looking for a way to have two different wallpapers on each screen. Is there a way to do this? Is there a "Display fusion" equivalent for Ubuntu?

Cheers!

Unfortunately, no, not under Gnome (the desktop environment that runs under the Ubuntu Unity and Gnome Shell interfaces.) (FWIW, it can be configured that way under KDE.)
