Spotify crashes here on start, under wine need native.

I see spotify under synaptic but it will not let me install, cause it depends on some libxss1 which I do not see in repository.

Try heading to the Spotify website and grab the repo for the native linux client (be aware it's only for premium subscribers). Add the repo to your sources list. You may have to untick the entry for 'source code' as Spotify doesn't share theirs ;)

Also, if you are using 11.10 you will find local music will not play. Instructions for a fix are here:
