i am trying to install Ubuntu onto my second HDD, and it goes through the initial setup, then i have to restart my computer. i've set my second HDD to bootup first so GRUB can load up and allow me to choose which OS to boot into. but when i go back into Ubuntu 11.10, it has a bunch of checks on the screen, most say ok, but it get stuck at "checking battery status......" it says it's ok, but it doesn't do anything after that fact. is there anything i may have done wrong, or anybody know why it sticks at that point when rebooting after installation?
