There isn't a special version out for Ubuntu 6.06. The beta 9 works with Ubuntu 5.10 and 6.06. Here's the link: http://www.opera.com/download/index.dml?opsys=Linux%20i386&lng=en&ver=9.0b2&platform=Linux%20i386&local=y
Chose Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy). That's the highest on their site but it works perfectly well with Dapper Drake.

That is exactly what I was looking for: I downloaded it but it didn't load due to dependency errors: xlib6g | xlibs
I guess I will search and enable these in the synaptic package manager, also what is the command prompt I should put in the terminal to get this beta up and running?
Thanks for the link, and thanks in advance for any help.
