Need help with grub error

Need help with grub error. I installed the Ubuntu run it with windows. After it boots I can either choose windows Vista or ubuntu but ubuntu run into black screen and vista works just fine.

while on grub hover ubuntu and press e to enter edit mode.

then find the line with quiet splash... at the end of line write nomodeset and boot

i think it was like this :)
