I've added and removed a second user that had auto-login. After removing I have to fill in my own password twice, ALWAYS. I am unsure if the problem arose when creating the scond user or after removal because I haven't logged in for the two weeks this user existed.
The first try for a password is also always ignored as I can use "pretty pink little pony" and it does not mention this is wrong at the login prompt, but does when I type in my password wrong the second time. Inside a terminal it will just ask my password a second time.
Searching for this problem it is mentioned there is a bug that might cause this, that the keyring is the culprit and I should remove the password for it. But I don't want to remove the pwd!
