Cleared partition space to FAT 32 in windows. Installed Ubuntu into this new space with no issues.
Windows 7 now fails to boot.
Windows error "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible"
I have made a bootable usb of windows 7. It does not see my hard drive. It saw my hard drive in the past before installing Ubuntu (I re-installed windows previously).
Using boot repair I...
Re-installed grub. No help.
Restored mbr. No help.
Tried sudo update-grub2 obtained:
