I apt-get command wasn't working properly so I googled and followed a tutorial that said remove it completely and reinstall via the synaptic package manager. I did the uninstall part and then clicked reload and ever since then i can't find the synaptic package manager and now
when i run aptitude update through the terminal i get the following error:

usr/bin/python: can't find '__main__' module in '/usr/share/command-not-found'

what do I do? Please help..
