Does anyone have a solution for this prob? I'm using Wine 1.3 and Ubuntu 11.10...
I've got this problem (or something that seems like this) by everything that contains sound...

This is a common problem with call of duty (almost all versions and it's harder to fix with steam) it's the most well documented problem with this game(s) and their are only few ways to fix. 1. Get a new sound driver either update what you have or see if you can grab some thing else. 2. Simple an easy go to the store and bu ya headset and set it as your default audio. This solves the problem for CoD you can usally find em for around 10-15 bucks if you want to go cheap on it. If you have already done this try to conifgure wine differently. To my knowledge it's the only way around this (and again you can find all the info on the forums for the game its self They will say the same thing I said but still worth looking at sadly windows has the exact same problem :(
