I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 and everything was great. Updated Eclipse and reinstalled the Android SDK. Then I decided to install the ATI proprietary driver (mistake)...it hosed my dual monitor set up. I have an Acer 20" LED 16:9 and a Dell 19" LCD 5:4 and could not set the resolutions to how they've been 1600x900 and 1280x1024. Read several posts about removing the drivers to no avail. I removed fglrx references using the Synaptic Package Manager and rebooted or tried.
The machine stops at:
You have an incomplete /etc/xsp4/debian.webapp
To fix it, you need to install at least one package for xsp4 (like asp.net-examples)
I can boot the machine using a thumb drive with 10.10 and the video is fine and I can set the proper resolution. I downloaded asp.net-examples_2.10-1_all.deb and copied it to the root of the primary partition and cannot extract it or install it from the root prompt.
Just looking for a little insight. Don't want to start over.
Thank you in advance. :(
