غير قادر على تسجيل الدخول بعد تعديل متغير

يا جماعة انا عملت تعديل لملف بتاع ال

bashrc

بتاع المستخدم بتاعي وعملت نسخة في

/etc/skel/

وبعد داك الواجهة الرسومية ما بتسجل لي الدخول ممكن ادخل اسم المستخدم والباسورد لكن سطح المكتب ما بيفتح وداير اعمل استعادة للضبط القديم ممكن ؟ وكيف
التعديل كان بغرض اضافة الالوان لي المحث

the good news that you have made a backup, so we can recover your file by copy and paste instead of rewriting it again.

your GUI is not working so we need to access command line to recover the file.

you can do so by two way (as i know):
1- Restart linux and select the second choice in boot menu it ends with (recovery mode) & then select root fro the menu.

or

2- if the login screen is working press ctrl+alt+F2 and you will have access to the command line after entering username and password


what we need to do now is your original bashrc back

cp /etc/skel/.bashrc ~/.bashrc

that went OK until I discovered that I've accidentally overwritten the /etc/skel/.bashrc file and now trying to find a template of bashrc file for ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS lucid lynx.
can you paste yours here so I can replace my one by yours ?

I do appreciate your work but I am sick of that error and I'll begin from scratch ,,,,DAMN I hate that
