I have a very aggravating bug with Unity on 11.10. Almost randomly (so there are a few times when it will work) when I select any option on any Unity quicklist, my entire computer will freeze to the point where I'll have to do a hard reboot. I tried to run Unity in CLI and > it to a log file but since it freezes so completely I can't get it to save a log. What can I do to provide better information? How can I fix this?
