I have a problem printing with a Brother MFC-8700 multi-function printer. When I send a file to print, after the message "Waiting for the..." I get an error message saying:
/usr/lib/cups/backend/usb failed . This doesn't happen after rebooting the system, but on the second attempt to print I get this problem. I'm using the driver "Brother MFC-8600 Foomatic/hl7x0 (recommended)", that seems to work well when I get it to print. I'll appreciate any suggestion.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but perhaps there is a typo in the link you wrote, it doesn't go anywhere.
