Well I don't really expect this to get answered.. but I really wish that I could 'pin' applications to lxpanel like in cairo-dock and docky and windows taskbar.

If anyone could help me that would be great.

Right Click on the panel , add/remove panel items
select Application Launch Bar, add want what apps you want.

Ahhh...do you mean like what I did with my top panel? (See attachment...)

You can do quite a lot with lxpanel using the configuration window Rodney9 explained.

Ah sorry guess I should've explained.

I mean I want to have a launcher for chromium (for example) that will either

*open a new instance if chromium is not already open

*raise an already running instance to the front

I can click on Chromium in the panel, then click again and again and again, 3 more come up. Then I click which one I want to see and use, in the panel.

But's that just it: I would like to only every have *one* window of each program. I don't need 5 instances of chrome - I just need 1 with 5 tabs.

Same for almost every application.
