The "FN" Key Doesn't Work on Ubuntu 11.10 ?

Hello Guys
I have A problem With My "FN" Key on My Toshiba laptop it doesn't work on Ubuntu 11.10 ?

but the same key work fine with Windows

so what i have to do ?

any hint will appreciated

Had the same problem with my Toshiba A550. Went back to 11.04

this is a pic show what was appeaer to when i was press on "FN" key on windows system

the menu in the top of the photo appear when i prees on "FN" key on windows system
the menu includes some of my laptop controlos like brightness, Mute, OutPut "Projector screen" or biult out screens, Touchbad ...etc

so what i have 2 do to get it on ubuntu ?

i search on Toshiba satellite driver site but i did not found for the "FN" Key Compatible with linux ...!

well, but this is just some windows service software doing it, it would need similar software to be written for linux. Would need to be done by Toshiba probably.
