I am having the strangest trouble trying to install Lucid on this old laptop. First off this being attempted with a USB thumb drive since this computer has no cd-rom. The strange part is I have installed different versions and releases of Linux perefectly each time.. but 10.04 will not work.. tried using different software to make the USB Installation, but nothing works. It always quits after the first boot flash screen. Any suggestions?
I have installed PCLinuxOS, Gentoo, Ubuntu 9.04(but failed upgrading to 10.04), and Debian.. Any Suggestions?
