Hello. I have been using Ubuntu for years on my notebook but am a newbie at troubleshooting.
I have upgraded every time a new version of Ubuntu comes out. This time I decided to do a fresh install from Live CD dual booted with Windows XP. Things look good except wireless doesn't work. Hardwire DOES work and on the XP side wireless works per normal.
I have gone through the WirelessTroubleShootingGuide wiki to check the basic stuff and found no problems.
Please let me know what to do. Below are the results of the suggested commands
