swift-swf installation

Hello folks.

I tried installing the flash alternative "swift-swf" from here:
http://swift-swf.blogspot.com/p/installation.html

If I try to install I get the following error:
Package dependencies cannot be resolved

swift-swf: Depends: python (< 2.7) but 2.7.1-0ubuntu5 is to be installed
Depends: swftools but it is not going to be installed

Python 2.7 was installed, I did install 2.6 and did reboot the computer - same issue.
Did attach two screenshot - just to avoid misunderstandings
What am I doing wrong?

Is there a better flash alternative than swift-swf for ubuntu?

I'm having the same problem, except it says:
Dependency is not satisfiable: python (<2.7)

Help? Anyone?
