I wanted to upgrade from Xubuntu 11.04 to 11.10, but when I do so I get the error message:
Your graphics hardware may not be fully supported in Ubuntu 11.04.
The support in Ubuntu 11.04 for your intel graphics hardware is limited and you may encounter problems after the upgrade. Do you want to continue with the upgrade?A while ago I changed from Ubuntu to Xubuntu because the computer I was using was quite old and I was told Xubuntu would work better. Is this error message wrong or will my graphics hardware not work under 11.04. I'm using a dell dimension L8666r with a pentium 3. Also, when I went to upgrade the screen prior to the error message said that I was upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 and not Xubuntu 11.10. Why is that? Is it just a mistake by the programmers or is Ubuntu somehow installed along with Xubuntu on my system?
