Hi,

The date-time and power-management icon is not showing in top bar. how to put those icon there?

If you go to the upper right icon, you click and the first choice is System Settings. Go to Time & Date and click the tab Clock and then check the first choice to show a clock in the menu bar. Hope it was that easy.

there is no shortcut for date-time, date or time.

using ubuntu 11.10

If you don't find it in dash use the following command . Logout and in and the icon will appear in dash .The indicator will appear on the panel when the icon is selected .
sudo apt-get install indicator-datetime
