Hello,

I have a graphic card MSI GTS 450 1Go GDDR5 OC and monitors Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 which arrived with dvi-d cables.

All worked very well but the cables were too short.

I bought (stupidly) longer dvi-i cables because I read that they could support both digital and analog.

But now I tried to replace them and the resolution is definitly lower, the screens are not recognised with their names.

Why is that? Can someone explain?

And is there a solution (maybe on the monitors settings) or do I have to buy dvi-d cables?

Thanks
