View Full Version : [gnome] Pre-Unity zoom function settings - how?

Hi. I like the way "zooming" worked in Gnome before Unity was introduced, i.e. the "Windows/Super button + mouse scroll wheel" effect (default). Once zoomed in, you were able to drag the window around (to see everything on the desktop), and (if I remember it correctly) you could also write text. Really handy.

Unfortunately I have not been able to replicate the same behavior in other experiments with Gnome. I am guessing some settings in Compiz control that, but which ones? I have been able to activate some kind of zoom, but not the dragging around and text-writing functionality.

Can anyone please help me replicate the effects I am talking about, please?
