failed to show Dash Bar

1. Ubuntu 11.10
2. It won't show Dash Bar. Only display file manager menu
After I used apt-get install fglrx without success and the Ubuntu came to file manager desk top. It always boot up to file manager.
3. I reboot many times and it still display file manager.
4. It also failed apt-get -f install. Count not finish install fglrx.
How to solve the problem?
