View Full Version : [SOLVED] Oneiric Ocelot doesn't detect my windows 7 installation

Hi guys and girls

Trying to install 11.10 into what appears to be some unallocated space at the end of my hard disk, however the Live CD doesn't detect my Win7 install for a dual boot. I realise this is probably a partitioning problem and was wondering if someone could take a look at my boot info and tell me if there's a likely culprit to be found there....?

Just a heads up: I was previously trying to install OS X on this system before giving up, wiping the HD with the windows installer, and trying to get ubuntu to work.

Thanks, Brad

Used Rod Smith's fixparts to get rid of some leftover GPT data. Upon restart the Live CD recognised the windows installation and other file systems.

Thanks to the community for this forum and the tools that helped get me up and running :)
