Unity How To?

I'm willing to give this Unity thing a try. After failed attempts at getting a usable desktop back, I Figured I may as well and make it work. Afterall, this IS how I departed from Windows.

So. Is there a how to, youtube video, or anything out there that shows us the unique, fun, workable, usable features of Unity?

In the first link, you can ignore the part related to Jupiter, as in my system it did something wrong with power manager (was fine before...).
