low graphic mode?

while updating 11.04, i closed lid of netbook,
and
opened it again, monitor was blank.
turned power off, did not do anything,
so
unplugged ac adapter, and
booted 11.04,
message pop up,
a couple of options,
'run low graphic mode one session'
configure yourself?
