Hi fellow Ubuntu friends,
I've got a little netbook computer (a Compaq) which I'm a happy owner of until I tried to upgrade the Ubuntu version to the current. I did it using an USB-stick. But since my brother needed my battery I borrowed him mine. As clumsy as I am, I fell over the cord and the power went off while it was installing Ubuntu. Okay, I tried again but this time it couldn't find the HDD. In my panic I even tried to install Windows but it didn't find the HDD either.
So is my computer simply dead? Or do you have any advice on what I can do? I'm open to almost anything.
Kind regards,
Alexander
