I'm running 11.10 and getting my system freezing when safely removing my external hard drive with "panic occurred, switching back to text console." and the caps lock light flashing on my laptop (at which point I need to hard reset). I'm not quite sure what to do from here. I wasn't having this issue until I the games that came with 11.10 through the software centre. Seems like the only thing that changed before the error started occurring. I'm still new to ubuntu, so I apologise if asking about this is inappropriate when there are bug reports. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
edit: Ok, I've clearly posted this in the wrong section. I can't seem to figure out how to delete it. Sorry for the noob post. I'll repost in a more appropriate section.
