How to disconnect from wireless network in Gnome 3?

I know it seems silly, but I can't do it. I want to disconnect from the network I am connected, not to turn the wifi off. Anyone?

Click the wireless icon (top right menu bar)

Go to 'network settings'

click 'Wireless' (on the left hand side)

click 'configure' (bottom right)

un-check the 'connect automatically' box towards the top of the dialogue
