How to make a Linux/Ubuntu demonstration?

Hello everybody. This week, the computer science club at my university is hosting a LAN/video game party in the engineering building. In addition to tournaments, there's usually some displays by Mozilla/Microsoft, etc handing out free stuff.

My friends and I are throwing together a Linux table! I guess our aim is to spread awareness of Linux and Ubuntu at the event. We'll have a few volunteer laptops (me, my friend, and his, maybe a couple more) to demo Ubuntu.

Anybody have some suggestions for what we should do/free stuff we could hand out? Thanks!

EDIT: I just saw the a similar thread about how to make Ubuntu popular. I'm more interested in what could we do specifically at this event to show people Ubuntu.

Maybe some printed out live CD's. Also, some kind of printed out documentation may be available if you contacted the ubuntu adverts team.

Also, I would encourage you to point out some of the shortcomings of linux as well, such as the programs that they cannot run that may be very important to them. Such as software for school, CAD, Visual Studio and Netflix, etc. For that matter, also point out if any games/graphics card drivers that you may be aware of that cause issues, since we are talking about a gaming event you know? I love ubuntu, but I hate when some new user gets a bad impression of it because the initial build-up was more than it could live up to.

Also : Don't lie to people. I've seen a lot of presentations that basically say "Ubuntu is the greatest thing since sliced bread! You should use it now kthxbai!." On top of that, those who make said presentation don't even actually know how to answer any questions other than "Why is it better than Windows" and even that is somewhat flawed and misleading.

Be knowledgeable, be accurate and be able to demonstrate something someone would actually want. That's just my thoughts. Ubuntu is a great operating system, unfortunately sometimes it's marketed very poorly.

Dual boot for those who have games or proprietary software is always a choice.

The event is Specialized on Games only?, if not i will try an Install Fest.

If its Games only, i will show up an Ubuntu PC with the Best Libre and non-Libre Game avaliable.
