Touchpad Not Working

hey guys

my touchpad just froze up... im using a usb mouse (is working)
i tried rebooting i does work... for a while and then crashes.
any way i can refresh / restart or whatever?


Dual Boot ubuntu 11.10/Win7 on toshiba satellite a665 (4g ram/ core i5 500g harddisk)

This sounds like a known bug. Check out the Launchpad bug reports in comment #35 of this thread: http://bit.ly/qx2da3. Mark yourself as affected in the correct ones, and try the fixes described. For me, I fixed it by turning off the 'disable touchpad while typing' option in 'Mouse and Touchpad' settings.
