Hi all,
Have tried to install some updates to my laptop and now boot is broken This is a Ubuntu 10.04 /Windows XP dual boot.
I am writing this on it having managed to boot using 10.04 on a USB key but not sure what to fix without doing a full install.
See attachment for Boot info /Results.txt The Grub prompt lists commands etc and displays Grub version 1.98-1 ubuntu 12.
I have read suggestions that kernel may have been updated - how can I revert the kernel update after the event?
Any suggestions short of a full reinstall.
