Ubuntu Installation on Vista Laptop Fails

Hi,

I have tried now three times to install Ubuntu 11.10 on my Laptop which is running Vista.

This last time I noticed that Wubi is using Amd64.iso when installing but I have 386 machine.

Anyone have ideas as to whether this is the problem. Any suggestions as to how to get the Ubuntu Windows installer to work on a 386 machine?

I managed to download the i386.iso to virtual disk and then installed Ubuntu 11.10 .... thanks.
